Creator Vivienne Medrano's boldly transgressive adult musical show, which originated as a crowdfunded pilot, truly found its footing in its sophomore installment. Building on the climactic revelations of the first season, the narrative expands significantly, centering on the ambitious TV demon Vox as he takes control of the narrative, sparking a chain of increasingly dramatic conflicts that naturally culminate in elaborate song.

Although it might not have a single breakout hit on the level of season one's "iconic tune," that's because each element in season 2 being increasingly complex.
