The City of Angels experienced citywide celebrations after the Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Fans across the globe joined local residents in celebration, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has secured consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Enormous Turnout
Los Angeles area celebrations included a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many displaying handmade banners and team flags. The squad was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the masses, raising the championship trophy high.
