The House Oversight Committee has released a collection of roughly 70 images secured from the holdings of late adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the third such publication from a cache of in excess of 95,000 photos the panel has secured from Epstein's property. It contains pictures of excerpts from the book Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and obscured photos of female international passports.

This disclosure arrives just hours before the 19 December due date for the Department of Justice to make public every files connected to its inquiry into Epstein.

"These photographs pose additional questions about exactly what the DOJ has in its possession," stated the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What's in the Photographs Made Public

A number of the photos published on recently feature Epstein speaking with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky on a private jet; Bill Gates seen beside a woman whose features is censored; Steve Bannon sitting at a table opposite Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the latest affluent, powerful individuals to be seen in Epstein estate photos disclosed by the committee - previously published pictures also depict US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, ex- US treasury secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Appearing in the images is does not constitute evidence of any wrongdoing, and a number of the featured men have asserted they were not implicated in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a statement issued alongside the photo disclosure, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein property holders did not provide explanatory details or dates for the images.

"Images were selected to offer the general populace with openness into a illustrative selection of the images obtained from the estate, and to provide understanding into Epstein's associates and his exceptionally troubling actions," the statement states.

The publication also contains several photos of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita penned in dark ink across various areas of a woman's body, including her upper body, feet, hipbone, and spine. Lolita narrates the tale of a young girl who was groomed by a adult literature professor.

A particular passage from the work inscribed across a woman's upper body reads, "Lolita: the point of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to alight, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a collection of photographs of women's travel documents and official papers from countries globally, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the details on the papers, like names and birth dates, is redacted but the committee said in a announcement that the travel documents belong to "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were engaging".

Another photograph shows Epstein sitting at a desk closely flanked by three women whose identities have been obscured - a first has her hand on Epstein's chest under his clothing, and a second is bending to view a close-by computer. Epstein appears to be helping the third individual fasten a wristband.

A further image made public is a screenshot of digital messages from an unnamed individual who claims they have been sent "some girls" and are asking for "$$1,000 per female".

Image Disclosure Arrives Prior to DOJ Deadline

The panel has a vast number of images in its holdings from the Epstein property, which are "at once disturbing and everyday," its press release on recently clarified.

The oversight panel first issued a subpoena to the holdings of Epstein, who died in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking crimes, in August.

The images and documents the Epstein estate's representatives gave to the body are separate from what is often called "the Epstein files". Those files are papers in the DOJ's custody related to its independent inquiry into Epstein.

Under the recently passed law, which the President made law last month, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to publish its documents. The full nature of what's included in the DOJ's records is unknown, and it's likely that much of the material will be extensively obscured, akin to Congressional releases
